Working closely with MAC's Executive Director and Chief Curator, Marianne Ramírez Aponte, Ingrid helped translate the institutional proposal into a clear public-facing narrative. She art directed and designed the presentation used to launch the initiative to community leaders, artists, press, government representatives, the Board of Directors, and potential supporters. Built directly in PowerPoint within the visual system she had co-developed for the museum, the presentation combined architectural plans, institutional messaging, programming, and the museum's vision for the building into a cohesive story designed to communicate both cultural and civic impact.
Launched during the pandemic through a press conference that also reached audiences digitally, the presentation became the foundation for a broader communications campaign. Ingrid extended the system across social media, digital publications, campaign materials, and video testimonials featuring artists and community leaders, creating a consistent visual language across the initiative's lifecycle.
The campaign generated public and press attention and mobilized artists and members of the Santurce and Condado communities in support of the proposal. Although the government ultimately awarded the property to another institution, the initiative positioned the MAC's expansion as a broader conversation about cultural infrastructure, historic preservation, and access to public space in Puerto Rico.
