The concept draws directly from Gallisá Muriente's archival methodology. Her work revisits forgotten histories, political narratives, environmental memory, and intimate relationships to place, uncovering stories that have been obscured or left unresolved. Rather than functioning as a conventional portfolio, the website behaves like an evolving archive: deliberate, tactile, and designed for discovery. Navigation unfolds through a restrained editorial structure that invites viewers to move through the work with the same rhythm as archival research.
The visual system embraces this approach through a minimal palette of black, white, and deep green, recalling analog film equipment and archival materials. Neue Montreal establishes a contemporary editorial voice with clarity and confidence, while a monospaced companion typeface introduces a quiet sense of cataloging and indexing throughout the experience. Together, the typography balances institutional precision with the warmth and materiality of the archive, allowing the artwork to remain the primary focus while creating a distinctive digital identity.
